Living the Message of Divine Mercy
For the Grace to be Merciful to Others
… Help me, O Lord that my hands may be merciful and filled with good deeds, so that I may do only good to my neighbors and take upon myself the more difficult and toilsome tasks…
… Help me, O Lord, that my heart may be merciful so that I myself may feel all the sufferings of my neighbor. . I will refuse my heart to no one. (Diary, 163)
Hearts and Hands Ministry is the new name of the group formally known as the Bereavement Ministry. We will continue to do receptions at the church after funerals, but we are expanding our ministry to help members of our parish who are ill or recuperating. We can provide meals, and transportation to and from the doctor, or do light chores around the house.
Anyone in need of this Ministry can contact us through our church website [email protected] or contact one of the Ministry Chairs:
