Fr. Jerry's February Book Recommendation

The Lamb's Supper by Scott Hahn

"Hahn writes of attending his first mass, where he was struck by the word used to describe Jesus: lamb. Not the majestic, awe-inspiring language we usually reserve for God. But the Book of Revelation calls Jesus lamb, too, 28 times in 22 chapters. This was the first inkling that here was the key to understanding the mass,"---Kirkus Reviews. 192 pages, hardcover. Doubleday.

Church History
with Deacon Domm

BEGINNING FEBRUARY 9TH
MONDAYS @10AM AND THURSDAYS @7PM

We will look at the first 250 years of the Church. By examining the words and lives of the early Church fathers( and a few mothers), we can learn the truth of the early Church, and recognize when someone is leading us astray about our Catholic heritage, since we will see that our current faith is solidly rooted in the “ faith once for all handed down to the holy ones.” (Jude 3.)

This class is come anytime, no need to worry about missing a session, but you won't want too!

KofC Baby Bottle Campaign

February 14/15 and 21/22

It is that time of year when Lent begins and our Baby Bottle Campaign starts for the Pregnancy Centers of Middle Tennessee. Baby Bottles will be distributed after all the weekend Masses on February 14-15 and 21-22. The needs of the Pregnancy Centers have never been greater and the list of those needing their help, support and assistance is growing every day. The Knights commitment to the “Right To Life” for all people at every stage of life from Conception to Natural Death remains as steadfast and unwavering as ever. The work done at all the Centers is absolutely amazing! So please continue to save all your loose coins for a few more weeks. If you need to write a check please remember checks should be made out to the PCofMT and not to the Church or to the Knights of Columbus. God Bless you for your incredible generosity. Vivat Jesus

Family favorites like chili, chicken noodle and vegetable will be joined by some surprise choices. Choose your soup and maybe a bread/roll companion, but definitely finish with a dessert. A 2-cup container of soup will be offered for $5.00. Take a break from the kitchen by bringing home dinner.
