A Small Group Faith Journey

Time | Date

This 8-week video-based study, hosted by Dr. Edward Sri, invites us to encounter Jesus personally through the Gospel of John, and discover what it truly means to follow him. Through

key passages in this Gospel, we will explore how Christ invites us not only to believe in him but to become his disciples and friends.

Sessions will take place on Thursday afternoons in Room 104 at Nativity, 2:30-3:45 PM, beginning October 1 and concluding on November 19. Please Note: The deadline for registration is September 4.

Church History with Deacon Albert

August 17

In February, we began exploring the Early Church and saw our

current faith present from the Church’s beginning. We continue

our exploration, starting in the late second century. The first week

is a quick review. The second week examines how the Church

converted the pagan Roman Empire. Spoiler alert—it wasn’t by

military force but by love and suffering. Then, in the following

weeks, we will see, through Saint Clement of Alexandria, Origen,

and others, the Church’s growing pains as it tries to articulate the

faith.

Fidelis Welcome Nights

August 10, 17, and 24

Nativity girls entering 6th to 12th grade are invited to attend Fidelis Welcome Nights to see what the sisterhood of Fidelis is all about. No need to register until you have attended and see if it is right for you! We will have games, food, and share what is special about being a Fidelis sister.
