January 18

"That Man is You" is continuing on January 18, 2025

Do you ever feel alone in your faith, wonder whether the world is going in the wrong direction, afraid for your children, struggle with sin or addiction, or feel you have no place to turn? "That Man is You" is a Catholic Men's program that can help you be a better husband, father, grandfather, co-worker, and Catholic. It is a once-a-week reset of your priorities and re-alignment of your attitude which can make the rest of the things you face easier to handle.

The program began at COTN last September, and has been well-attended and well-received. We will resume January 18th with 13 weeks in the spring. You don't have to go to each session, but once you go a few times, you will see benefits in your own life and won't want to miss a week.

The program is 90 minutes long, starting at 7:00 AM sharp on Saturdays, beginning with 30 minutes of fellowship and conversation with brother parishioners, a 30 minute video about relevant topics, and 30 minutes of small group discussion. You will be done before most people wake up on Saturday, so you won't miss any other family obligations or weekend events.

Children of the Eucharist
Faith Formation invites you to join us for an hour of Eucharistic Adoration for children. One Thursday per month from 6pm-7pm. Dates coming up: February 6th, March 6th, April 10th and May 1st

The greatest gift we can give our children is leading them on a path to Jesus and developing a relationship with Him. Eucharistic Adoration is a wonderful time for this. Children of the Eucharist is a program that was introduced to us by a grandmother, from Ireland, who was visiting one of our parish families here at Church of the Nativity. It is a beautiful program that we are excited to offer to our students. (All families in the parish are invited, adults and children of all ages are welcome to spend this hour with us.) The format of the hour will allow time for silent prayer, singing, reading scripture, short discussions, questions and reflection. This is geared toward elementary age children however, all are welcome. Father Jerry will offer Confession time during the hour too.
