Quo Vadis Days

This summer we are starting our first annual Quo Vadis Days. The name Quo Vadis is a common name throughout the country for a summer discernment camp. It comes from a story from the early church of a vision that St. Peter had of Jesus when he was tempted to flee during the persecution in Rome. Peter asked Jesus, "Quo Vadis, Domine?" (Where are you going, Lord?). Jesus then asked the same question back to Peter. In a similar way, this summer camp is meant to be an opportunity for our young men to ask and be asked the question, "Where are you going?"

The dates are May 28–31, and it will be held at the Christ Prince of Peace Retreat Center in Benton, TN. It will be run by the seminarians and priests of the diocese. There will be lots of fun outdoor activities and sports, as well as great opportunities for prayer and fraternity as the young men learn how to grow in their relationship with God and discern his call in their life. It is open to young men from rising freshmen through graduating seniors. Registration and more information can be found on our website: https://www.nashvocations.org/qv
