Baptism
Baptisms will be arranged with each family for the times, which usually will be scheduled on Saturday mornings or afternoons or Sunday afternoon. Parent Preparation meetings will be given to parents. Contact Father Kirk or Deacon Ron Deal.
Sacrament of Penance-Reconciliation
May be received anytime on request, before or after the daily Masses, on Saturday at the scheduled time of 4:00 - 5:00 p.m., and at Communal Penance Services in Lent, Advent, and other times throughout the year. This healing Sacrament brings spiritual peace, heals from the effects of sin, strengthens against sin and fosters virtue. The baptismal life is strengthened and restored in the case of someone in the state of mortal sin restored. The Reconciliation Room is located down the hallway from the worship area side or from the back of the Gathering Area.
Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick
Can be received as needed. Contact Father Kirk.
Sacramental Preparation
We have a number of children who need some basic faith instructions and preparation for the Sacraments in addition to the regular meetings. We will work toward meeting those important needs.
Daily Mass
The Daily Mass is a wonderful way to grow spiritually. The Mass is our greatest prayer. We meet the Lord in prayer, His word, and in receiving Him in Holy Communion. The Mass strengthens not only those present but, the whole Church Body of Christ. The Church greatly depends on the few hundreds of thousands of Catholic throughout the world who participate in the weekday Masses. Those who are free are encouraged to come to weekday Mass.
Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament
We have adoration of the Blessed Sacrament on the first Friday of each month following the 9:00 a.m. Mass and continuing untill the closing with Benediction at 4:45 p.m. and Mass at 5:00 p.m. We need sponsor-stewards to sign up for periods of adoration. Adoration of our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament is an important source of spiritual graces. Dioceses that foster Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament have a greater number of vocations to the priesthood and religious life. A number of parishes in our diocese have been having more times for Adoration and we have seen an increase of vocations in our diocese.
