Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Everyday and every season is important in our living with our Lord in His Body the Church.  The next hundred days are especially important for those who have been united with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and the members of the Church in the Sacrament and Covenant  of Baptism.  The hundred days from the beginning of the Lenten Season on Ash Wednesday, February 17, until the end of the Easter Season on the Feast of Pentecost, May 23, will renew and strengthen the members of the Body of Christ in the central mysteries of our Lord’s death and resurrection.  The Holy Spirit unites the baptized to our Crucified and Risen Lord and powers us to live His life in our life.  Our Lord wants us all to be with Him in these days, which affects how we live life all the other days.
